My first post was deleted for some strange reason. Anyhoo you are so not alone. I think about it lots too. LoL. And that site is awesome. I go there quite a bit. He posts serious spoilers sometimes as well. They're hard to stay away from.
Okay, I haven't been able to stop thinking about it either. I'm completely obsessed. And also I am bothering everyone I know with questions.
So here's my latest theory. I've put a lot of work into it, so please be gentle.
Lost is simply another version of Toy Story, set on an island. There's the man of science (Buzz/Jack) who has potential to be a leader, but not the spirit for it. Then there's the man of faith (Locke/Woody) who is really meant to be a leader. The go to "Pizza Planet" where they find themselves in a toy machine, and they are told that "the claw decided who will go and who will stay." Uh, Jacob anyone?!
Anyway, I'm still working on it. I have a couple more details to work out before I go post it on the official Lost Boards.
Personally, I think Lost is like one giant episode of Three's Company, where it's just all one big misunderstanding and at the end Mr. Roper (AKA Ben) will clear everything up.
