Thoughts...

**I adore the fact that Penny and Desmond named their son Charlie....

**Charles Whitmore is the young other on the island!?!?!?!?!?

**I wish Richard Alpert would pass on his tips on aging. For real...

**Daniel Faraday really has me stumped...

**Not sure if Desmond going to see papa in law was the smartest thing ever...

**I'm still confused about the whole we're in the future, now we're in the past, now we're in the future deal going on...

I was really tired and not feeling so great last night, so I don't think my mind was in proper Lost watching and information sorting mode. It was really good though. I may hafta watch again...

I'll just say it again. Holy Freaking Crap.

So I'm just going to plop my large butt down and make myself at home here.

My head is still spinning. Anyone else? I feel like I need to watch everything again just to make sure I really saw what I think I saw. Here's what stands out to me:
  • Daniel Farraday is hella smart and seems much more assertive in his new role as Guide to Time Traveling Adventures.
  • The castaways seem to be starting to suffer from whatever the time travel sickness is. But Juliette and Sawyer seem to be unaffected?
  • Seeing the Island in different times makes my head hurt. But it also starts to make some things make sense.
  • Three years in the future Sayid hates Ben's guts, even though he's killed a bunch of people at Ben's behest.
  • There's some kind of crazy Other Secret Organization that operates out of butcher shops and churches that wears Druid robes and uses old computers and pendulums. I swear you just can't make this shizz up.
  • Sun is scary.
And here are my questions:
  • Are Hugo and Miles experiencing the same kind of visions of dead people?
  • Is the baby in the beginning supposed to be significant? Other than to show that some people evidently did at some point give birth there.
  • Is Ben really the good guy? He appears to be saving the world. From who? Time traveling bunnies?
  • Why is Desmond special? Other than his crazy eyes and sexy accent?
I love how I continually underestimate the power of this show to surprise and delight. It is truly made of awesome.
